August 2003. Welcome back to school!! Tiffany's Place hopes that everyone had a good summer vacation. While many of you were at the beach, the pool, or summer camp, Tiffany's Place directors were busy scheduling a fun-filled year full of many new events. Tiffany's Place will be sending out a newsletter every month to keep you updated. If you have any suggestions or ideas please let one of the directors know!!
Fall Hours
During the fall Tiffany's Place will be open for high school students on Saturday nights from 8:00p.m.-11:00 p.m. If the time changes Tiffany's Place will send an announcement to your school!!
Teen Idol Winners
Teen Idols winners from this summer competition (Kyesha Horton, C.J. Hayes, Ryan Marlow, Jason Denny, Stephanie Pierce, and Brittany McGlamery) will be singing again on Friday August 8, 2003 at 8:00p.m. the singers will be performing at the Wilkes Community College to jump off the Relay for Life Walk. Go and
support your fellow classmates!!
X-Box Tournament
Tiffany's Place has purchased an X-Box along with 5 games. (NBA 2003, NCAA Football 2003, Ghost Recon, Tony Hawk 2003, Big Mutha Truckers) Make sure to come and play
anytime. This month we have an exciting
X-Box Tournament planned for entire month of August. If you chose to play you
will need to be here every weekend to
compete. We will be using the NBA 2003 game, so everyone needs to practice! The entry fee for high school is $2.00, and the tournament begins on August 9, 2003. The tournament will not be going on August 30, because of Labor Day; but will resume on Sept. 6 for the finals. If you want to participate you need to come by to register or call 838-1332! There will be prizes awarded to the winners.
