How Tiffany's Place Began.Tiffany's Place came to be as the result of a conversation between Pete Kulynych and his assistant's daughter, Tiffany B. She had remarked to him that there is "no place for teenagers to hang out in Wilkes County". This one comment set into motion a chain of events that would result in Tiffany's Place Youth Center. home of Wilkes Playmakers. The 1913 building is also known to many as The Old North Wilkesboro School. of Lowe's Companies, Inc. took the helm and began what is now one of the finest facilities for youngsters in the United States. Tiffany's Place features a reading room, music room, and a state-of-the-art computer room, concert/karaoke stage, a dance floor, a movie theatre, game area and canteen. It employs two full-time coordinators to run the facility and oversee the many opportunities and programs that are available to both high school and middle school students that frequent Tiffany's Place. Tiffany's Place invites adult volunteers to help chaperone and manage the youth center. There is no charge for the Photo ID cards or for admission to the youth center. of Wilkes County can "Escape the Ordinary".
