How Tiffany's Place Began.

Tiffany's Place came to be as the result of a conversation between Pete Kulynych and his assistant's daughter, Tiffany B.

She had remarked to him that there is "no place for teenagers to hang out in Wilkes County". This one comment set into motion

a chain of events that would result in Tiffany's Place Youth Center.
After several phone calls and many ideas, Mr. Kulynych looked at Benton Hall, the former North Wilkesboro Elementary School,

home of Wilkes Playmakers. The 1913 building is also known to many as The Old North Wilkesboro School.
With Bob Ham, Jim Lyall, and Karen Reynolds on board, the retired WWII Navy Lieutenant and Founding Director

of Lowe's Companies, Inc. took the helm and began what is now one of the finest facilities for youngsters in the United States.

Tiffany's Place features a reading room, music room, and a state-of-the-art computer room, concert/karaoke stage, a dance floor,

a movie theatre, game area and canteen. It employs two full-time coordinators to run the facility and oversee the many opportunities

and programs that are available to both high school and middle school students that frequent Tiffany's Place.

Tiffany's Place invites adult volunteers to help chaperone and manage the youth center. There is no charge for the Photo ID cards

or for admission to the youth center.

Thanks to the generosity and vision of one exceptional benefactor, Tiffany's Place is definitely a place where the young people

of Wilkes County can "Escape the Ordinary".

Have fun and enjoy the facilities here at Tiffany's Place.
